Our mission is to develop Christian Fellowship with the Presbyterian Women of this congregation through a faith journey of commitment to local, regional and international service, encouraging and supporting all tasks undertaken by each committee and sharing in spiritual development through these activities and opportunities that bring glory to God. Our group is an easy way to become more familiar with the women of our church and help support the many things we do.
Many of our activities take just a couple hours of your time, and others take a longer commitment, depending on what you would like to do. Our major focus is missions and many times we collect items, collect money, have fundraisers, and make items that are sent to those in need. We are now concentrating more on local needs; in our church, our city and our county.
This past year, we added a little over $2,000 to the Samaritan Fund of the church, gave many baby items to the Pregnancy Helpline, and many stuffed animals to the Livingston County Ambulance Service. We are now looking at ways to become involved with Love, INC. If you have suggestions or ideas where we could help, please let us know. The Board meets the 2nd Monday of each month from September – June at 7:00 pm.
